Come and celebrate the dead with the living on Sunday 30th from 4pm.
Clare will be serving Enchiladas from 4-6pm – fresh and fine as can be, and we would love you to bring mementos to place on our SHRINE to honour and remember the dead.
Mementos can be anything that reminds you of your dead family member, friend or special someone. Food to help them on their way, a line of poetry they enjoyed, a fragment of clothing…just note that we will be burning the items on the shrine on All Saints Day, Tues 1st Nov, to assist the souls on their journey to the spirit realm. You are more than welcome to join us in doing this on Tuesday evening.

We have had a busy time at The Oxymoron entertaining our customers with the best bands out there.
Dakota Jim and Louisa Jones have made regular monthly appearances and have completely won our hearts and minds with their charmingly outrageous folkiness. They have even brought along their friends – The Relatives – who defy description and must be heard. This is what happens when cunning minds get hold of a banjo….
I will be posting future dates.
On Sundays from 5pm we have Emrys of The Soul Immigrants hosting a jazz session. He is pictured below with Marcello the chef having a bit of a jam while the customers go hungry (only joking). Please feel free to turn up with your instrument of choice and give Emrys a run for his money – it’s fun and everybody claps!!
Silver Fox in Kitchen and apparently with a magician in tow!
